What I'd love to hear
- Feedback on the calculator. What helped, what was confusing, what you wish it did.
- Corrections. If a number, rate, or explanation looks off, tell me and I'll check the source and fix it. Corrections get a dated note on the page rather than a silent edit.
- Bugs. Anything that didn't work right, on any device or browser.
What I can't help with
I'm not a financial advisor, planner, accountant, credit counsellor, or insolvency trustee, and I hold no licence in any of those fields, so I can't tell you what to do about your own debt. For that you want someone qualified. In Canada, a Licensed Insolvency Trustee, or LIT. In the United States, an agency accredited by the National Foundation for Credit Counseling, or NFCC. First consultations are normally free. More on what that means.
A note on privacy
DebtPathway doesn't collect or store the numbers you enter. The calculator runs entirely in your browser. If you email me, I'll only have whatever you choose to put in your message. See the privacy policy for the full details, or read more about the site.
